How much experience do I need to participate in marathon training?
We ask that you be comfortable with a 6-8 mile long run and at least 18 miles per week.

How much experience do I need to participate in half marathon training?

We ask that you be comfortable with a 3-5 mile long run and at least 12 miles per week.

How much experience do I need to participate in Monday night 5K training?
We require that you show up.

I am a CrossFitter or Boot Camper and want to work on my endurance and speed training?
In addition to your regular CrossFit or Boot Camp workouts, you will add 2 run specific workouts each week...Tuesday track and Thursday intervals. These workouts will focus on skill, technique, and speed which will lead to a greater level of overall fitness and staggering gains to your endurance and pace performance. 

How long do the  classes take?
Weekday workouts generally take anywhere from 45 minutes to one hour.  Weekend runs will range from 3-7 miles at the beginning up to 12-20 miles at the peak – the length of time depends upon your pace. 

How long does the 5K class take?
Classes will run for one hour.  Training is based on time rather than distance.   

What if I cannot make a workout or am out of town?  How do I know what to do on the other days?
You can find the weekly workouts on the calendar and schedules in The Lab.

Does the program fee cover race entry for the half marathon, marathon or 5K?
No, the program fee only covers the training program. You will need to take care of race registration on your own. 

Where and when do we meet?
The FRC gym is located at 7200 Meadow Hill, 75034.  Meeting times are 530AM and 700PM.  Check calendar for actual times and dates.
