Fall Marathon / Half Marathon training and more!
FRCers, we have a couple big announcements!
First, fall marathon and half marathon training is starting soon! The training will officially begin the first week of August, and will be 19 weeks in length (with the goal races being the Dallas Half and Full in December). We will have options for beginners and experienced runners in both the half and full marathon programs!
Our first Saturday long run of the Fall training cycle will be Saturday, August 6th at 6am from the Frisco Running Company.More to come on how to sign up very soon.
Secondly, the Frisco Running Club is now officially a 501c3 non profit organization!We are so excited about this, and hope to create scholarships for young runners, give back to the community, and more.
WITH THAT, SOMETHING NEW:
We will be collecting an annual membership fee for anyone who wants to be a part of FRC.
This will cover:
- ALL training plans for the entire year (fall, winter/spring and summer)
- One FRC shirt
- Frisco Running Company store discount
- Water stops for long runs
- Access to coaches
